FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Hillary Fitts has been named Assistant Field Hockey Coach as announced today by Head Coach Jackie Kane and the Fairfield University Athletic Department.
 
"We are excited to have her join the coaching staff this season, it's always great to bring alumni back and have them help out with the team," said Kane. "Fitts has a great understanding of what it means to be a Fairfield student-athlete and what it takes to win on the field."
 
The 2017 season will mark Fitts' third season as an assistant on the field hockey coaching staff, spending the previous two as a volunteer.
 
She is a 2014 graduate of Fairfield University, having played for four seasons under current Head Coach Jackie Kane. During her time as a player, she was named to the America East Second Team in her senior year and played in all but one game during her four years at Fairfield. The midfielder tallied 10 career goals and nine assists as a Stag.
