FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Junior Sarah Stuhlmann has been named the MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Last week, Stuhlmann went 2-0 in Fairfield's spring opening conference match at Saint Peter's. The junior posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Lucia Radovic at No. 1. And in doubles action, she partnered with Nicole Aragones for a 6-1 win in the first spot.

Fairfield as a team is now 2-0 in league play while Stuhlmann is a combined 4-0 in her MAAC doubles and singles matches this season.

The Stags get back into league play on Monday, April 3 after two more non-conference matches this week at Wagner and Seton Hall.
