PHILADELPHIA – Sarah Stuhlmann and Emily Lombardi represented Fairfield University Women's Tennis on Thursday at the 2017 ITA Northeast Regional Championship. The event is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at the Penn Tennis Center in Philadelphia.
 
Stuhlmann competed in the singles draw, where she was defeated by Gabrielle Bowe of St. Bonaventure by a count of 6-2, 6-0. Stuhlmann also paired with Lombardi in the doubles draw. The tandem fell to Fordham's seeded duo of Carina Ma and Estelle Wong, 8-1.
 
The Stags (2-1, 1-0 MAAC) will cap their fall slate next weekend at the NJIT Fall Invitational.
