FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Four Fairfield University women's lacrosse student-athletes were recognized by the IWLCA as members of the 2016 ZAG Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll.

Seniors Shelby Iapoce and Chelsey Sidaras, and juniors Kaitlyn Arnold and Brenna Weill were all named as Fairfield was just one of 96 Division I institutions with honorees. Iapoce earned her second recognition as she was named to the list last season as a junior, while the other three student-athletes were all named to the list for the first time.

To be eligible for the Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

At the conclusion of the season, Fairfield led the MAAC with 16 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team. The league honored individuals with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
