FAIRFIELD, Conn. –  Fairfield University women's tennis fell to MAAC foe Marist, 7-0, on Friday afternoon.

In doubles play, the No. 1 duo of Nicole Aragones and Sarah Stuhlmann dropped 6-3 to Karlene Pang and Chloe Lant. The No. 2 and No. 3 spots followed with 6-1 and 6-3 defeats respectively.

In singles action, all six matches went just two sets. Karen McKeough fell 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot, and Gabriella Campos fell 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3. Courtney Connors dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision at No. 4, while Cecilia Parla played in the fifth spot and Meghan Ziegler wrapped up at the sixth position.  

The women will be back on the courts on Sunday, travelling to Monmouth for a 2:30 pm match.
