FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Women's tennis dropped their sixth in a row dating back to January 29th as they matched up against the Yale Bulldogs on Sunday morning falling 7-0.

The Stags did not earn a doubles point, but got tough play out of the duo of Courtney Connors and Nicole Aragones at the No. 1 spot as they fell 6-3 to Yale's Madeleine Hamilton and Tina Jiang.

In singles action, Fairfield was simply outmatched as all six spots lost in straight sets. At the No. 1 spot, Aragones fell 6-0, 6-0 to Ree Ree Li. Karen McKeough dropped 6-0, 6-1 to Sherry Li in the No. 2 spot. And Meghan Zimmer played at the No. 3 spot falling 6-0, 6-0 to Amy Yang.

Fairfield will have more than two weeks off before their next match. The team will head down to sunny North Carolina for a pair of matches against Gardner-Webb and UNC Greensboro on March 7 and 8.
