FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fans will be able to take a look at the Fairfield University men's basketball team this weekend when the Stags will conduct their annual Red/White Scrimmage at Alumni Hall. The scrimmage will tip off at 11 am. Following the scrimmage, Head Coach Sydney Johnson and his student-athletes will be part of a question-and-answer period. 

The Fairfield University men's basketball team comes off a 19-win season and returns the nucleus that helped the Stags post their third winning season under Coach Johnson. The team will officially begin its season with an exhibition game against the University of Bridgeport on November 4 before playing its 2016-17 season opener against Sacred Heart University on November 11 at Webster Bank Arena.
