Seventeen Stags to Play Summer Baseball

Sixteen Stags will take to the baseball diamond this summer playing in various collegiate leagues in the Northeast and Colorado.

Pitcher Mike Wallace will be suiting up for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL). Wallace is the first pitcher since Rob Gariano to pitch in the CCBL. Gariano pitched for the Harwich Mariners in 2009. In 2012, Mark Bordonaro was slated to pitch for Chatham when he was drafted and signed by the Seattle Mariners. In 2013, Ryan Plourde spent the final weeks of the summer with the Anglers.

In the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL), EJ Ashworth, Joe Randall, Brendan Tracy, and Jake Salpietro will play for Amsterdam Mohawks while Jeremy Soule will play for Elmira Pioneers. Sebastian Salvo will play for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs.

In the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), Aaron Howell will pitch for the Sanford Mainers.

In the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, Mike Bonaiuto and Kyle Dube will play for the Torrington Titans.

In the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, Tim Duggan and Michael Conti will play for the Riverhead Tomcats. Troy Scocca will play for the Shelton Island Bucks while Ryan O'Connor will play for the Southampton Breakers.

In the Atlantic Baseball Confederation Collegiate League, Tyler Blind and Eric Fajardo will play for the Monmouth Monarchs.

Mac Crispino is heading to the Rocky Mountain Baseball League (RMBL) to play for the Denver Cougars.
