NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Fairfield University's Allison Radde, Nicole Aragones, and Sarah Stuhlmann from the women's tennis team wrapped up play at the ITA Regional on Monday, October 20. The five-day event was held at Yale's Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.  

The Stags started the tournament with a qualifying round of singles. Rookie Aragones fell to Fairleigh Dickinson's Gisela Castany, 6-3, 6-0, in the round of 32.

In the singles main draw, Stuhlmann was edged, 6-1, 6-3, by Columbia's Adi Milstein in the first round.

In the doubles main draw, Fairfield duo Radde and Stuhlmann were defeated, 8-1, by St. John's pair Anastasia Polyakova and Irina Preotescu in the first round.

The Fairfield women's tennis team will continue action on the road. The Stags will open Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play against Rider for their final competition of the 2014 fall campaign.
