VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Fairfield University tennis team fell to an overall record of 4-4 after dropping to Villanova University, 4-2.  Monica Yajima and Maggie McLaughlin took home the wins for the Stags at No. 1 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

Freshman McLaughlin took her opponent in the six spot in two sets, 7-5, 6-3, while Yajima came back from a dropped first set to edge Mancini in the one spot, 5-7, 7-5, 6-3. 

The Stags (4-4, 2-0 MAAC) will host Quinnipiac University tomorrow afternoon, March 28, as they take to the Walsh Athletic Center Tennis Courts for the first time this season.
