CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – As an associate member for the sport of field hockey, Fairfield University had 14 squad members named to the fall America East honor roll and five on the commissioner's honor roll.  The Stags were one of three fall sports in the conference to have all their student-athletes named to the honor.

Six-hundred sixty America East student-athletes whom competed in fall sports earned America East Honor Roll distinction after achieving grade-point averages of 3.00 or higher during the 2012 fall semester, the highest total in league history and 68 percent of all fall-sport student-athletes.  Over half of those student-athletes earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for completing the fall semester with a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
