CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Two senior Stags from the Fairfield University women's tennis team matched up against Princeton, Providence, and Seton Hall at the 2013 the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regionals this past weekend. The Stags competed in singles and doubles play at the five-day event which took place at Harvard University.

Sharissa Ryan picked up a win in the first round. They defeated Providence's Bernardez/Zangari, 8-0. In the round of 32, the duo fell to the 15
th seed Sher/Berrios from Seton Hall, 8-5.
In the singles main draw, Yajima was edged by Princeton's Alanna Wolff, 6-4, 6-4, in the round of 32.
Yajima has now competed in the ITA Regional all four years as a Stag. Ryan has now competed in three ITA Regionals as a Stag.
The women's tennis team finishes out the fall season, October 25-27, at the NJIT Invitational in Newark, N.J.
