The Fairfield University women's golf team shot a 54-hole 1,025 to finish in 17^th place at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate at Kingsmill. The three-day event, played at Kingsmill Resort-River Courts in Williamsburg, Va.,  was won by Longwood University.

The Stags top finisher was Emma Ritzmann, who shot a three-day 244 and tied for 56^th.  She was consistent across all three rounds, carding 82-81-81.  Elise Lemons shot an opening day round of 80, the team's best round of the event, and finished 71^st with a three-day 252.

Katherine Rockwell and Kathryn Heffernan both carded their best scores over the final 18 holes.  Rockwell shot 89 on Tuesday and finished 95^th at 273, while Heffernan shot an 84 to finish 98^th at 278.

The Stags are back in action on April 16-17 when they travel to the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational in Gettysburg, Pa.
