Women's Golf Finishes Competition At C&F Bank Inte

Final Results

The Fairfield University women's golf team shot a 54-hole 1,025 to finish in 17th place at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate at Kingsmill. The three-day event, played at Kingsmill Resort-River Courts in Williamsburg, Va.,  was won by Longwood University.

The Stags top finisher was Emma Ritzmann, who shot a three-day 244 and tied for 56th.  She was consistent across all three rounds, carding 82-81-81.  Elise Lemons shot an opening day round of 80, the team's best round of the event, and finished 71st with a three-day 252.

Katherine Rockwell and Kathryn Heffernan both carded their best scores over the final 18 holes.  Rockwell shot 89 on Tuesday and finished 95th at 273, while Heffernan shot an 84 to finish 98th at 278.

The Stags are back in action on April 16-17 when they travel to the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational in Gettysburg, Pa.
