FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The men's tennis team will host conference rival Marist Wednesday, April 6 at 3pm on the Walsh Athletic Center Tennis Courts. The Stags have been the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) runner-up the last three seasons to the Red Foxes. Marist was chosen as the conference favorite for the third consecutive year in the Preseason Coaches' Poll after receiving 48 points, the Stags were right behind in the #2 spot with 43 points.

The Marist men's tennis team is now 8-3 overall and 2-0 in the MAAC with victories over Siena and Niagara. They are most recently coming off a 5-2 loss at Buffalo this past weekend.

The Stags enter the mid-week match at 8-7 with a 5-2 victory over Sacred Heart on Monday. They are also 2-0 in the conference with a 6-1 win over Saint Peter's and a dominating 7-0 performance at Loyola. The men's tennis team is also on a two-match win streak.
