Fairfield, winners of five of its last seven, will face Big East foe UConn on Tuesday, April 19 at 3pm at J.O. Christian Field in Storrs, Conn.

Fairfield (12-17) vs. UConn (21-12-1): Fairfield and UConn will meet for the first and only time this year. Last season, the then-ranked No. 21 Huskies topped the Stags, 12-2, at Alumni Diamond. It was a two-run game until the eighth inning when UConn broke it open. Scott Warwick had a good outing but took the loss, allowing just three runs, two earned, on seven hits in 5.1 innings. Tucker Nathans went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Stags. Fairfield is 15-52-1 all-time against UConn, with the last Stag victory coming on April 25, 2006. Looking Ahead: Fairfield resumes MAAC play this weekend when it travels to Rider University. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 23, break for Easter, and finish the series up on Monday, April 25 at 3:30pm.
