Lady Blue Devil Shoot Out Results

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University women's golf team concluded their regular season at 5,821 yard, par-71 golf course at the Wethersfield Country Club. The Stags finished second behind Hartford at the Lady Blue Devil Shoot Out. As a team, they shot a 343, while Hartford finished with a 330.

Senior Kristen Macdonald continued her 2011 regular season impressive play by pacing the Stags with a team best, 81. Macdonald tied for second overall. Elise Lemons placed seventh overall with her 86 on the round. Annie Sperandio and Claire Rothschild finished two strokes behind Lemons with an 88 each, while Christina DeStefano ended the day with a 90.

Megan Feeney and Mary Alice Limperopulos participated in the Shoot Out as individuals and finished with an 84, and 102 respectively.

The Lady Blue Devil Shoot Out marks the final event of the Stags regular season. The women's golf team will now prepare for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships held in Walt Disney World April 29-May 1.
