Fairfield University will be celebrating the three-decade career of Head Baseball Coach John Slosar with a special dinner on April 16.  Current team members, former players, colleagues, and family will be gathering in Fairfield University's Dolan School of Business for an Evening of Fairfield Baseball Stories – The John Slosar Years.

Slosar, who will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2011 season, has spent the last 27 seasons as the Stags head coach. He also was an assistant coach for Fairfield before taking over as skipper in 1985.

It will be an exciting, baseball-filled day as the Stags take on Central Connecticut State University at 1pm on Alumni Diamond followed by the Evening of Fairfield Baseball Stories at 6:30pm.
