FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Spend Thanksgiving with the Stags as the men's basketball team opens up play in the 2011 Old Spice Classic . Fairfield will take on Arizona State Thanksgiving night with the game time slated for 9:30 pm. The game will be shown live nationally from Orlando on ESPN2.

After playing the Sun Devils, Fairfield will play either Dayton or Wake Forest in the second game which is scheduled for Friday, November 25. Game time, opponent, and ESPN network will be determined based on results of the games on Thursday. The team's final game of the Old Spice Classic will be on Sunday, November 27 against either DePaul, Indiana State, Minnesota, or Texas Tech. Game time and ESPN network will be determined. The Stags are coming off an impressive 73-52 win over the College of the Holy Cross on Sunday, just two days after the Crusaders posted a double-digit win over Boston College. Fairfield received another stellar effort from sophomore Maurice Barrow, who posted his first double-double of the year with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Rakim Sanders and Ryan Olander checked in with 13 points against Holy Cross, while Derek Needham added 10 markers.

Sanders is the team's top scorer with 17 points per game, while Ryan Olander is next in line with 14 points every forty minutes. Barrow leads the team in rebounding with 7.5 caroms per contest, with Olander holding down the second spot at 5.3 rebounds per game.

Arizona State brings a 1-2 overall record into Thursday night's game, coming off a 76-71 loss to New Mexico over the weekend. The Sun Devils are under the direction of Herb Sendek, who has won 343 games over 19 seasons.

Carrick Felix has enjoyed a great deal of success in the early season, leading the team in several offensive categories. He checks into this game with a team-high 15.0 scoring average, and is the team's most accurate shooter at 48 percent from the field. Felix also represents the team's top three-point threat, netting five long-range jumpers in three games. Kyle Cain and Ruslan Pateev have provided support up front. Cain leads the team with seven rebounds per game, while Pateev has a team-high eight blocks (2.7 per game).
