POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Fairfield University men's and women's diving teams faced Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Marist College this afternoon in a non-scored meet.
For the women, freshman
Ashlee Steinberger qualified for ECACs on the 1-meter, notching a personal best of 230.40 en route to a second place finish. Steinberger's performance was the fourth-best by a Fairfield diver all-time. Steinberger also was the runner-up on the 3-meter with a score of 190.88.
Freshman
Lauren Kemple also had a solid afternoon notching a personal best on the 3-meter with a score of 157.20 On the 1-meter, Kemple recorded a score of 150.60.
On the men's side, freshman
Evan Barr had a pair of third-place finishes. On the 1-meter, he posted a score of 190.95. He also had a mark of 192.53 on the 3-meter.
Junior
Ryan Krebs posted a score of 175.65 on the 1-meter and a 186.00 on the 3-meter. Freshman
Will Sullivan recorded a 157.50 on the 1-meter and a 132.60 on the 3-meter.
Fairfield returns to action on November 19 when the swimming and diving teams host Saint Peter's College at 1pm at the RecPlex.
