FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Field Hockey team looks to continue their successful finish at the Big Green Classic as they host Lehigh University in their home opener on September 8. The game time is set for 4 pm.

The Stags ended the weekend with a 1-1 record, which included a close loss to a strong Dartmouth team and a win over Missouri State the next day. The win improved their overall record to 1-3.  The weekend exemplified a balanced Stags offense with the three goals and three assists coming from six different players. Fairfield's defense led by starting goalkeeper Maddy Sposito, also had a successful weekend allowing just three shots in the win over Missouri State.
