FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University softball team's doubleheader scheduled at Canisius College was postponed due to rain in the Buffalo area. This morning, the team decided to change the doubleheader to a single game this afternoon but weather reports are not conducive for play for the rest of the day. Fairfield will return to action on Wednesday, March 31 when the team travels to Iona College for a mid-week doubleheader. The Stags return home for a four-game set with Niagara University, hosting the Purple Eagles for a doubleheader on April 2 and April 3.
