ATLANTA, Ga. – Fairfield University Athletics was named a finalist for the annual Sports Video Group (SVG) College Sports Media Awards in the Outstanding Cinematic Recap category with the 2024-25 Year-End montage grabbing the accolade. This marks the third-straight year the athletic department has been named a finalist with four total videos receiving the honor.

Fight Song was one of nine finalists for the Outstanding Cinematic Recap in the Championship Division.
The montage summarized Fairfield athletics' historic 2024-25 campaign which featured a program-record eight MAAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in seeing the Stags earn their second-straight MAAC Commissioners Cup. The video premiered at the annual student-athlete banquet which celebrated the accomplishments of the season.
This is the third-straight year-end video to be nominated as a finalist in the national summit and Fairfield's fourth video overall.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced at the
18th-annual SVG College Sports Media Awards in association with NACDA ceremony, which will be hosted by ESPN's Ryan McGee at the
SVG College Summit in the Hilton Atlanta on May 27 at 5 p.m. ET.
