EDISON, N.J. – After winning medalist honors at the Roar-EE Invitational, Rasmus Ditzinger has been named the MAAC Golfer of the Week. In addition to his individual win, Ditzinger led Fairfield University Men's Golf to a team victory at the 15-team event.
 
Ditzinger shot a two-round 133 (-11) comprised of a 68 in the opening round followed by a tournament-best 65. He pulled away to beat the field by four strokes with Lafayette's Harry Dessel in second place at 137 and Columbia Alejandro Formosa turning in a third-place score of 139.
 
In nine tournaments this season, Ditzinger has now collected three individual wins and a total of seven top-three finishes. He has won MAAC Golfer of the Week on three occasions this spring and was also the MAAC Golfer of the Month for September of 2025.
 
The Roar-EE Invitational was the last competition for the Stags prior to the 2026 MAAC Championship. Fairfield looks to defend its 2025 crown at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course on April 28-30.
