RENO, Nev. – Fairfield University Men's Golf has battled wind, snow, and 13 of the top golf teams in the nation at this week's NCAA Reno Regional. Through two days on the course at the Montrêux Golf & Country Club, play has been suspended due to darkness with most of the field nearing the conclusion of the second round.
Fairfield is participating in its first NCAA Regional as a team after winning the 2025 MAAC Championship.
The Reno Regional field includes four top-25 teams and eight of the nation's top 45 programs. Individually, 21 of the top 150 players in Division I are on the course this week at Montrêux. The top five teams on the leaderboard, as well as the top finishing individual not a part of those five teams, will advance to the NCAA Championship later this month.
The final day at the NCAA Reno Regional tees off on Wednesday, May 14 at 8:30 a.m. (PT). The third and final round of the 54-hole tournament will begin later in the day on Wednesday.
