FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fresh off receiving a vote in the latest Associated Press (AP) Top-25 poll, the Fairfield University Women's Basketball team will look to impress more voters as they head to Emmitsburg, Md., to face Mount St. Mary's on Thursday night at 7pm. The Stags will be looking for their 17th-straight win this season and their 40th-straight against MAAC opponents spanning over two seasons.

Fairfield has also found tremendous success on the road, winning 11 true road games, tying for the second-most in the nation behind only James Madison. Over the last two seasons, Fairfield's 26 road wins is the most in Division I.

The Stags are coming off a 72-46 victory over Rider one week ago at Leo D. Mahoney Arena.
Emina Selimovic led a trio of Stags in double-figures with 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting, the second-straight game she shot 70 percent from the floor.

For the 16th time this season, Izabela Nicoletti-Leite led the team with assists as she tallied seven helpers without a turnover. She now ranks fifth in the entire country with a 3.17 assist-turnover ratio and ranks second in the MAAC with 5.3 assists per game.

Kaety Lamoreaux led a defensive charge that forced 23 turnovers as she racked up four steals. It is the ninth time in the 16 MAAC games that L'Amoreaux has tallied three or more steals. She ranks third in the conference with 2.4 steals in MAAC games.

For the first time since the opening week of the season, the Stags received a vote in the AP Top-25 poll with their 22-3 overall record. Aside from a perfect 16-0 league mark, Fairfield has enjoyed wins over opponents from the SEC, ACC, and Big East this year. Fairfield spent three weeks ranked in the top-25 last season, placing No. 25 in the AP.

The Stags will return home for two of their final three games of the regular season, starting with a matchup against Sacred Heart on Saturday at 7pm.
