Women’s Basketball Announces 2026 Recruiting Class

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Basketball team has announced the signings of the four-member group that comprises the recruiting class of 2026. Caterina Ravosa, Addison Rhodes, Emma Rogers, and Gabby Vaughn have all signed their national letters of intent and will join the Stags for the 2026-27 season.

"We couldn't be more excited about our 2026 signing class," Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "Not only did we find high level basketball players who will continue to help us elevate this program nationally on the court, but we found four young women who embody our STAG Standards and value this amazing community we have here in Fairfield. We have continued to put a premium on recruiting four-year players to our program and we feel like we found four players who are all going to impact our program in a positive way both in the immediate and in the future."

Caterina Ravosa – 6-2 | Road Runner | Wilbraham and Monson Academy | East Longmeadow, Mass.

In just three seasons, Ravosa eclipsed the 2,000-point scoring mark, the first Wilbraham and Monson student-athlete to ever achieve the milestone. She was named to the All-NEPSAC Class AA First Team after averaging 20.9 points and 9.3 rebounds as a junior. In her career, she helped WMA to the Class C Championship, earned two All-NEPSAC Class C First Team honors, three All-Star selections, and five team MVP awards.

Thibault-DuDonis on Ravosa: "Cat is someone we have been recruiting for about as long as our staff has been at Fairfield! Cat gives us a legit inside presence on both sides of the ball.  Offensively she gives us an interior presence and can also stretch the floor by shooting the three very well - she fits the road runner mold!  She has continued to improve and grow her game in high school, and we are excited to help her elevate even more."

Addison Rhodes – 5-11 | Guard | Crestview High School | Lisbon, Ohio

Rhodes was the Ohio Division V Player of the Year after guiding Crestview High School to a 21-4 record and a district final appearance. She led the area with a 26.1 scoring average that featured a school-record 81 made three pointers while shooting .513 from the field and .445 from 3-point range. She also collected 7.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 3.8 steals, and 1.0 block during her junior season. In just three seasons, she has amassed 1,687 points, 604 rebounds and 157 three-pointers. She became the first player in Crestview history to receive All-Ohio First Team accolades while also being named the: Northeast Inland District Player of the Year, Columbiana County Player of the Year, Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Morning Journal All-Area Player of the Year.

Thibault-DuDonis on Rhodes:  "Addi is the true definition of a three-level scorer. She is a long wing with deep range and will continue to push us towards being one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the country. Beyond just her ability to score though, she does it efficiently and cares about winning more than anything else. She loves being in the gym and will find a great home in Fairfield!"

Emma Rogers – 5-10 | Guard | Aquinas College | Tauranga, New Zealand

Rogers has represented the New Zealand national team for three-straight seasons most recently as part of the U18 3x3 tournament. She was named the MVP at the U18 nationals after breaking the tournament single-game record with a 52-point explosion against Harbour in the Quarterfinal round. She helped her squad finish second in the national tournament, while still earning the championship's MVP after finishing as the top point scorer. She also took part in the U20 nationals and was named the Defensive Player of the Tournament. Rogers is currently playing professionally with Mainland Pouakai and leading the MVP race in the Rapid League.

Thibault-DuDonis on Rogers: "Emma is a gritty, tough, physical point guard with elite speed and comes with a ton of experience playing at a very high level in New Zealand. Her tenacity is infectious and will fit perfectly into what we want from our point guards. She has been playing in one of the best professional leagues in the world and we think that experience is going to translate very well to our fast-paced style of play."

Gabby Vaughn – 6-0 | Guard | The Shipley School | Glassboro, Pa.

Vaughn was named to the All-Main Line First Team after her junior season after averaging 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. She helped Shipley to a 19-9 overall record and was also selected to the All-Friends League First Team. The honor was her second career All-League selection after earning Second Team honors after her freshman season. She was also an All-State Second Team pick for the Gators.

Thibault-DuDonis on Vaughn: "Gabby is a versatile wing (could be an honorary road runner!) who is not only a great player but an incredible teammate with a great work-ethic. Her infectious, go-getter attitude is the exact type of mentality we are always looking for. She's someone who can guard multiple positions and score in a variety of ways, which makes her a great fit for our five-out system. Her best basketball is ahead of her and we are excited to be a part of her growth!"
