CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Fairfield University women's rowing completed its day at the Head of the Charles with a strong performance and placement in the club 4 event. The Stags ended the head race by placing 17th overall out of 53 entries.Fairfield was represented by

Victoria Conrad, Molly Squire, and coxswain Lexi Tomlinson.
The Stags completed the distance with a time of 18:56.88 which was nearly a second better than Lehigh (18:57.40) but just off Riverside Club's time of 18:56.85. Fairfield was one of four Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) teams to race in the event, finishing second only to Jacksonville Universiy's time of 18:43.95. The crew finished ahead of Sacred Heart University (20th - 19:04.86) and Marist University (23rd - 19:15.24).
Fairfield will return to the water on Saturday, October 25 when the team participates in the Head of the Schuylkill.
