FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University women's rowing team placed 18 student-athletes on the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team as the organization announced the annual team on Friday morning.

Megan Blair, Olivia Burghardt, Alyssa Colombrita, Arden Costello, Kara Davidson, Marianna Kalin, Grace McDonough, Alyson Moore, Catherine Morrissey, Julianna Pedrazzi, Emily Regan, Miranda Schmidt, Emma Szachta, Shaylin Tombs, Alexandra Tomlinson, Mia Van Mater, Arianna Welton, and Sarah Wendling were recognized for their achievements in the classroom.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

The Fairfield University rowing team, under Head Coach Dr. David Patterson, will compete in the 2024 MAAC Championships on Sunday, May 19.
