Fairfield Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2025 Schedule

The Stags will play eight games on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse will play eight games on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium as a part of the 2025 schedule, which was unveiled today by Head Coach Andrew Baxter. The slate features seven non-conference contests prior to the seven-game Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) ledger.

For the second consecutive season, the schedule opens with a visit from Lehigh. Fairfield hosts the defending Patriot League Champions at Rafferty Stadium on Friday, Feb. 7.

After a trip to Brown on Feb. 15, the Stags will play their next three contests at home. The run begins with a Feb. 19 meeting with defending MAAC Champion and crosstown foe Sacred Heart, followed by a clash with the other half of the 2024 MAAC Championship Game, Manhattan, on Feb. 22.

As the calendar turns, the Stags ring in the month on March 1 at home against Providence. The non-conference schedule concludes with a midweek trip to St. John's on March 4 and then a return to Rafferty Stadium to host UMass Lowell on March 8.

CAA play begins with the longest trip on the ledger with a March 15 visit to Hampton. Fairfield then welcomes Drexel and March 22 and heads to Long Island to meet Stony Brook on March 29. The April schedule starts at Rafferty Stadium against Hofstra on April 5.

The only instance of back-to-back road games on the schedule features last season's top two seeds in the CAA. The Stags first head to Delaware on April 12 for a rematch of their 2024 CAA Semifinal matchup and then visit the reigning CAA Champion Towson on April 19.

Fairfield returns home to close out the regular season April 26 against Monmouth.

The top four teams in the CAA will qualify for the 2025 CAA Championship. The tournament will be hosted by the top seed on May 1-3.

2025 will mark the fifth season for Andrew Baxter as the leader of the Stags. Fairfield finished the 2024 campaign at 8-7 overall and 5-2 in the CAA – its first winning record in a full season since 2016. The Stags earned the third seed in the CAA to make their first postseason appearance since that campaign.

Ticket information and promotions for the 2025 Fairfield Men's Lacrosse season will be announced in January.
