LAST TIME OUT
In a game defined by scoring runs, visiting Holy Cross owned the final stretch of the day to edge Fairfield, 13-12, in non-conference action last Saturday at Rafferty Stadium.
Jake Gilbert led the Fairfield scoring with four goals and two assists.

Fairfield scored five straight goals in the third quarter to flip a 4-3 deficit to a 9-4, but the Crusaders responded with a 4-0 stretch to close the gap and then netted five in a row in the fourth frame to nab the 13-12 decision.

Gilbert tied his career high with six points, scoring four goals along with two assists. At 21 goals and 14 assists, the senior attackman takes over the team lead with 35 points this season.
Devin Lampron added three goals, extending his team lead to 25 goals with his fifth hat trick of the campaign.

Rob Moore also had three points apiece with each man tallying a goal and two assists.

TALKING POINTS
Fairfield would clinch a CAA postseason berth with wins over Towson and Monmouth.
The Stags will enter next week's game at Monmouth still in the hunt for a playoff berth, regardless of Saturday's result against the Tigers.
Towson would clinch a share of the CAA Regular Season Championship with a victory over the Stags. While the Tigers cannot secure the outright crown, they would also lock up top seed in the upcoming CAA Championship with a win on Saturday.

IN A CLUB OF HIS OWN
With four caused turnovers on Saturday,
Julian Radossich became the first player in program history to record 100 career caused turnovers. He has recorded 34 on the season and 103 in his three seasons as a Stag.

Radossich, who leads the nation with 2.83 caused turnovers per game, owns the top three spots on the single-season caused turnover list, including a program-best 42 last spring.

Radossich also picked up five ground balls against Holy Cross to enter Fairfield's all-time top 10 with 130 career ground balls – 10th overall and third among non-faceoff men.

THE RANKED AND FILE
Currently #17 in both the USILA coaches' poll and
Inside Lacrosse media poll, Towson will be Fairfield's first ranked opponent of 2026. Yale and Sacred Heart have both been ranked but did not sport a number next to their name when challenging the Stags this spring.

In addition, CAA opponent Drexel and non-conference foes Lehigh, Brown, Dartmouth, and Providence have all received votes in the USILA poll at various times during the 2026 campaign.

CHART CLIMBERS
Will Consoli and
Jake Gilbert are both rising up Fairfield all-time points list in their final campaigns. Consoli currently stands at 12th all-time with 135 points, six points shy of the top 10, and
Jake Gilbert is tied for 16th at 120 points.

Both seniors are also among the top 20 in goals, and Consoli ranks 13th in career assists with an even 50 to his name.

NO POLE, NO PROBLEM
Entering this week,
Andrew Kasten is one of four players in in the nation to have recorded at least 13 caused turnovers playing as a short-stick.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS
Fairfield has played five one-goal games this season and sits at 2-3 in those contests. Two of those encounters went into overtime, with Fairfield defeating Lehigh in double OT on Feb. 6 in Bethlehem and falling to Yale in an extra frame on March 7 at Rafferty Stadium. Adding to the list of nailbiters, the Stags have also played two games decided by a two-goal margin.
