Fairfield Visits Monmouth for 2026 Season Finale on Saturday

The Stags eye a fourth straight win over the Hawks

OPENING FACEOFF
Fairfield Men's Lacrosse concludes the 2026 season on Saturday, April 25 with a CAA trip to Monmouth. Opening faceoff from Kessler Stadium is set for 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Fairfield was on the short end of a 12-5 loss to #17 Towson last Saturday on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. Rob Moore paced the attack against the first-place Tigers with two goals and an assist.

Moore was the lone Stag with multiple points on the day, posting two goals and an assist. Devin Lampron, Justin Brown, and Jeremiah Wade each added one goal, with Jake Gilbert and Shane Elliott dishing one assist apiece.

Julian Radossich – the nation's leader in caused turnovers – added three more to his tally and picked up three ground balls to pace the defense. Bryce Hrubiec added two caused turnovers from the LSM spot, and Nate Livingston picked up three grounders on close defense.

Landon Whitney made 11 saves.

Towson's potent attack was headed by four goals from Alex Roussel and a hat trick by Mikey Weisshaar – the No. 2 pick in this past week's Premier Lacrosse League Draft.

IN A CLUB OF HIS OWN
Defenseman Julian Radossich is the first player in Fairfield history to reach 100 career caused turnovers. He has recorded 37 on the season and 106 in his three seasons as a Stag.

Radossich, who leads the nation with 2.85 caused turnovers per game, owns the top three spots on the single-season caused turnover list, including a program-best 42 last spring.

Radossich has also entered Fairfield's all-time top 10 with 133 career ground balls – 10th overall and third among non-faceoff men.

In his career, the junior is a 2025 All-America Honorable Mention, a two-time All-CAA First Team honoree, the 2024 CAA Rookie of the Year and 2025 CAA Defensive Player of the Year.

CHART CLIMBERS
Will Consoli and Jake Gilbert are both rising up Fairfield all-time points list in their final campaigns. Consoli currently stands at 12th all-time, six points shy of the top 10, and Jake Gilbert sits at 16th.

Both seniors are also slotted among the top 20 in goals in program history, and Consoli ranks 13th in career assists as a Stag with an even 50 to his name.

This spring, Gilbert and Consoli lead the Stags in points with 36 and 34, respectively.

I LOVE LAMP(RON)
After leading the Stags with 30 goals in 2025, Devin Lampron is Fairfield's current pacesetter once again in the 2025 campaign. Lampron enters the final game of his sophomore season with 26 tallies to his credit. He has posted eight multi-goal games this spring, highlighted by five hat tricks.

NO POLE, NO PROBLEM
Entering this week, Andrew Kasten is one of four players in in the nation to have recorded at least 13 caused turnovers playing as a short-stick.

THE RANKED AND FILE
#17 Towson was Fairfield's only nationally-ranked opponent of 2026. However, Yale and Sacred Heart have both been ranked but did not sport a number next to their name when challenging the Stags this spring.

In addition, CAA opponent Drexel and non-conference foes Lehigh, Brown, Dartmouth, and Providence have all received votes in the USILA poll at various times during the 2026 campaign.

A NON-CONFERENCE DETOUR
Fairfield hosted Holy Cross on April 11 in non-conference action to fill the gap in the schedule left by Delaware. The contest marked the latest that the Stags played a regular season non-conference game since 2014, when Fairfield visited Quinnipiac on April 15 for the penultimate game of the regular season before finishing the ECAC slate against Ohio State.
