FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Wyatt Dossey has joined Fairfield University Athletics as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Broadcast Operations and Digital Strategy. Dossey, who most recently held a similar role at Florida State University, will oversee broadcast operations for the Stags Sports Network and help manage all aspects of the Stags' digital and social media presence.
"We are thrilled to welcome Wyatt to our External Operations team," said Deputy Director of Athletics Zach Dayton. "Our ESPN and Stags Sports Network productions are key to sharing our brand and telling our story to a national and global audience. Wyatt brings high-level experience working with ESPN and the ACC Network at Florida State, and will help build upon our foundation and take our broadcast operation to new heights."
Dossey had served as Senior Producer of Live Sports Broadcasting at Florida State since 2018, overseeing all of the Seminoles' live broadcasts on behalf of ESPN and the ACC Network. He produced or otherwise assisted with more than 500 broadcasts in Tallahassee, managing a broadcast team of full-time employees, freelancers and Florida State students. Dossey also helped to create additional elements of the live broadcast, including feature packages, interviews, promos, and pre- and post-game content.
"Thank you to Paul Schlickmann, Zach Dayton and the rest of the Fairfield community for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their team," Dossey said. "I'm honored to join a program that values high-quality broadcasts and is committed to the growth and success of its broadcast operations. Fairfield is home to exceptional student-athletes and coaches, and I am so excited to help share their stories and achievements. Go Stags!"
A 2017 graduate of Florida State with a B.S. in Digital Media Production, Dossey logged nearly a decade of experience with the Seminoles, beginning with his time as an undergraduate. He completed an M.S. in Sports Management from Florida State in May of 2023.
