FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Seven games on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium highlight the 2024 Fairfield University Men's Lacrosse schedule, which was announced on Thursday by Head Coach
Andrew Baxter. The slate opens on Feb. 10 at Rafferty Stadium with a noon visit from Lehigh.
"Our goal every year is to create a non-conference schedule that will prepare us for CAA play, and this schedule does just that with competition from the Patriot League, ACC, Big East and America East among others. Our seniors have done a good job of leading the program this fall and we are excited about the challenging spring ahead of us."
The Feb. 10 visit from the Mountain Hawks, which kicks off the Stags' 10th season at Rafferty Stadium, is the first of seven home outings on the docket. Fairfield will also host Wagner (Feb. 24) and Providence (March 2) during the non-conference schedule, with visits from Hofstra (March 16), Towson (March 23), Delaware (April 6) and Stony Brook (April 20) on the home slate during Coastal Athletic Association play.
Fairfield's first road trip takes the Stags to Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, Maryland for a Feb. 17 meeting with the University of North Carolina. The Stags will challenge the Tar Heels for the first time since 2013 and the seventh time overall.
The first true road contest is the following Wednesday, Feb. 21 across town at Sacred Heart. The Stags also visit Bryant (March 6) and UMass Lowell (March 9) to cap the non-conference schedule. During CAA action, Fairfield will trek to Drexel (March 30), Monmouth (April 13) and Hampton (April 27).
