In his 15th and final season with the Stags, Frager guided Fairfield to one of the best seasons in school history which featured a dominant 19-1 conference record and eventually the school's first MAAC title in 24 years. "I'm thrilled for Lou," Coach Frager said. "She had an outstanding season for us and this recognition is just great."
With the Stags MAAC Championship victory, they earned the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament, the fifth in program history. Fairfield earned the No. 15 seed in the Austin Regional and would fall to No. 2 Texas with Lopez-Senechal leading the team with 17 points in 29 minutes.
