FAIRFIELD, Conn. – With the opening of the Leo D. Mahoney Arena less than two months away, Fairfield University Basketball fans have responded with over 500 season tickets sold since packages went on sale at the beginning of the fall semester. In preparation for an exciting season in the new venue, Fairfield Athletics is pushing to sell another 500 season tickets before the Stags' tip off in Mahoney Arena on Nov. 18.
 
"Our fanbase is buzzing about the opportunity to be part of the inaugural season at Leo D. Mahoney Arena, and the response thus far reflects that level of excitement." said Vice President for Athletics Paul Schlickmann. "Our external team is working tirelessly to connect and spread the word about Fairfield Basketball and Mahoney Arena with a goal to have 1,000 Stags season ticket holders join us for the 2022-23 season and beyond."
 
Chairback seats in the lower bowl for men's basketball games are in limited supply at this time. However, chairback seats in the second level of the venue with exceptional sight lines are readily available for purchase. Fans can purchase tickets for men's basketball, women's basketball or purchase combo tickets for access to every regular season game played at Mahoney Arena this season.

"Our objective is to establish a game-day atmosphere that is second to none and provides an electric home court advantage for our student-athletes.  The catalyst to achieve this vision is a vested, dedicated base of season ticket holders. We are grateful for the enthusiastic commitment of the more than 500 season ticket holders who have set the bar to date and reignited our community spirit. With the next wave of Stags fans stepping up, we believe that we can accomplish something truly special in Mahoney Arena this season. "
 
Season tickets for the 2022-23 season will include access to exclusive season ticket holder events as well as a season ticket holder gift celebrating the inaugural season of Leo D. Mahoney Arena.
 
All tickets for the 2022-23 Fairfield Basketball season will be digital and scanned through a mobile phone at entrance to the arena. Each season ticket holder will have an online account to manage your tickets throughout the season. This includes the ability to digitally transfer tickets to other individuals if you cannot attend a game. An in-depth review of digital ticketing will be provided to season ticket holders and fans as the season approaches.
