TRUMBULL, Conn. – For the second consecutive day, Fairfield University Men's Tennis rolled to a 7-0 sweep of a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference foe. On Sunday, the opponent was Siena and the location was indoors at the Tennis Club of Trumbull as the Stags improved to 5-2 and remained unbeaten in the MAAC at 3-0.

"Today was another solid performance" said Head Coach
Jeff Bricker. "They came out and took care of business from the first point to the last. I'm very happy with the energy and intensity from the entire team. We get a day off tomorrow, but we'll be right back to work on Tuesday."

The Stags powered their way to a sweep of the doubles point.
Kaya Gore and
Stathis Tsiranidis took a 6-1 win at the #1 spot, while
Keean Shah and
Jonathan Olive-Blanco at #2 as well as
Allan Magid and
Lewis Edwards at #3 each posted 6-3 victories to complete the clean sweep and stake Fairfield to a 1-0 advantage.

In singles play, the Stags got straight-set wins from Gore, Olive-Blanco, Edwards and Shah. Tsiranidis and
Griffin Schlesinger rounded out the day, each claiming a third-set tiebreak to win their respective singles matches.
