Biography

2020-21: Named MAAC Player of the Year and All-MAAC First Team at No. 1 singles… led the team with a 7-1 record in singles play and went 5-2 in doubles contests… earned five MAAC wins at the No. 1 position over Rider, Siena, Quinnipiac and twice against Monmouth, including a straight-set win in the conference title game… took home a trio of conference victories in tandem play, taking down Niagara, Rider, Siena, and Quinnipiac.

2019-20: 6-10 in singles play and 11-7 in doubles contests… won five matches in the No. 1 singles flight and earned victories over Wesleyan, Hofstra, Sacred Heart, UConn, Colgate, and Fairleigh Dickinson… scored doubles victories against Marist, Rider, Sacred Heart, St. John’s, Quinnipiac, Yale, NJIT, and twice against Hofstra and UConn… won all 11 doubles contests alongside Jonathan Olive-Blanco.

Before Fairfield: Gore played #6 singles as a freshman at Miami in 2018-19 prior to his decision to transfer. His singles wins as a Hurricane include triumphs over players from Georgia, Wisconsin and Old Miss while his doubles victories are highlighted by wins over teams representing South Carolina, USF, Ole Miss and Liberty. Miami was consistently ranked among the top 40 teams in the nation by the ITA and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA postseason.
 
About Kaya: A native of Izmir, Turkey, Gore ranked as high as #56 in the ITF world rankings as a juniors player. He played in two junior Grand Slams, including a run to the doubles quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Gore was a member of the Turkish National Team every year from ages 12-18.
