After over a year on the sidelines, the Fairfield University Baseball team is gearing to start their 40-game campaign. The Stags were picked to finish third in the MAAC Preseason Poll with outfielder Dan Ryan and infielder Justin Guerrera named to the Preseason All-MAAC squad. Fairfield returns a nucleus of 29 players from last year's squad including all four of their projected starting rotation. The Stags will welcome three transfers and eight freshmen into the mix.

All 20 Fairfield Baseball home games during the regular season will be broadcast live by the Stags Sports Network on Fairfield Live or the Stags Sports Network.

After ending the 2019 season in the MAAC Championship series, the Stags had high expectations coming into the 2020 season, but those hopes were dashed just 11 games into the campaign as the CoVid-19 pandemic shutdown their season. Fairfield was coming off their biggest win of the young season over Stetson. The Stags would go 2-11 with wins over Harvard and Stetson.
