FAIRFIELD, Conn. – After a dominating performance against Manhattan this past weekend, Evan Fair was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week and Samuel Tonole was named MAAC Men's Diver of the Week.
 
Evan Fair tallied three individual first place finishes to help the Stags defeat Manhattan. Fair came in first in the 200 SC Meter Butterfly clocking in at 2:07.44. Fair also won the 200 SC Meter Backstroke with a final time of 2:08.56. Fair finished first in the 200 SC Meter Individual Medley as well with a time of 2:09.63. He was also part of the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay team that finished second at 1:49.09.
 
On the diving boards, Samuel Tonole won the 1 Meter Diving with a final score of 224.24 and finished second in the 3 Meter Diving with a score of 222.23.
 
Fair and Tonole, along with the rest of the Stags, will return to action as they travel to Massachusetts to take part in the Boston Winter Open at Boston University on February 7-8. Fairfield will then make their way up to Buffalo N.Y. to compete in the MAAC Championships from February 12-15.
