Fairfield's Last Time Out
Fairfield saw its lead shrink to a single goal three times on Sunday afternoon against visiting New Hampshire, but the host Stags answered the bell on each occasion to keep the Wildcats in their rearview mirror en route to a 14-11 win
Brooke Gallagher netted seven points in the victory on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium with four goals and three assists.
Â
Gallagher's seven-point day slots her atop the Fairfield leaderboard with 11 assists and 22 total points on the spring.

Scouting Denver
Denver is 4-1 on the year, having won their first four games of the season before falling by a score of 12-10 to a Michigan team that has since risen to #13/12 in the nation. The Pioneers have unintentionally been staked to a 10-day break after challenging the Wolverines, as their March 3 visit from Vanderbilt was cancelled due to harsh weather conditions.
Â
An NCAA Championship Second Round participant last season, Denver has been led this spring by attackers Hannah Liddy and Eliza Radochonski with 19 and 18 points respectively. Bea Behrins is the Pioneers' leading goal scorer with 13 tallies in five games.
Â
Between the pipes, Carson Gregg has started all five contests and played all but 12 minutes for Denver en route to a .544 save percentage and 8.15 goals-against average. As a defensive unit, the Pioneers have ceded only 32 goals through five games with Michigan as the only squad to net more than seven markers against them.
Â
Fairfield has played one game against Denver in program history, a 10-6 loss in Colorado in 2016. No current Stag appeared in that contest, while five current Pioneers took the field in that game.
Â
The Pioneers are the first-ever nationally-ranked women's team to play on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium and Fairfield's highest-ranked regular season opponent (IWLCA poll) since the Stags challenged both #9 Florida and #10 James Madison during the 2011 season.
Â
Up Next
After a 12-day break from competition, another team of Pioneers await the Stags as their three-game homestand concludes with a March 20 visit from Sacred Heart. Opening draw in Fairfield's non-conference finale is set for 3 p.m.
