PHILADELPHIA, PA. – Fairfield women's tennis ended their weekend with another dominating win as they defeated La Salle by a score of 6-1.
The Stags swept Doubles competition as
Jessica Pil and
Gabriella Campos took down Maansi Malhotra and Jazmin Walle 6-4 at #3 Doubles. Then
Anna Komer and
Sophia Prinos defeated Brittany Poje and Aleks Nikolic 7-6 in #2 Doubles while
Emily Lombardi and
Diana Prinos finished off Tiffany Theophil and Ali Snyder in #1 Singles 7-5.
In Singles competition,
Aina March won at #2 Singles over Ali Snyder (6-2, 6-3).
Anna Komer then defeated Brittany Poje (6-3, 6-3) in #3 Singles while
Emily Lombardi picked up a victory at #4 Singles (6-2, 7-5) over Aleks Nikolic.
Jessica Pil was the winner at #5 Singles (6-2, 6-2) over Jazmin Walle and
Courtney Connors took down Maansi Malhotra in #6 Singles (7-6, 6-2).

Jeff Bricker. "Another good showing on the doubles court which has been our focus. We are rolling so hopefully we can keep the momentum going into next weekend against Stony Brook!"
Fairfield will return to action next Saturday, March 2, as they take on Stony Brook at home in New Haven at 5 P.M.
