FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University men's soccer team will look to build on last Saturday's victory as the Stags face two more Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opponents this week. Head Coach
Carl Rees will bring his squad to Manhattan College for a Wednesday night match up before hosting Siena College on Saturday night at Lessing Field. Both games will start at 7 pm.
The Stags collected their first MAAC victory of the season last Saturday with a strong showing at home, beating Monmouth University by a 3-1 count. Fairfield received an offensive boost from

With his three assists, Lozowski places second on the team in assists, trailing only
Matt McGlinchey's team-best four assists which places him in a tie for most points on the team with six.
Cooper Knecht also has six assists which comes off three goals.
Fernando Robayo is just off the lead with five points, netting a pair of goals with one assist.
Goalkeeper
Gordon Botterill has garnered all the minutes for the Stags, including both games last week. He posted a 1.44 goals against average in those two games which brings his season average to 1.30. Manhattan enters the game with a 3-8 overall record and a 2-3 MAAC mark, coming off three consecutive losses. The Jaspers won three straight matches before its current streak, including back-to-back overtime victories against Fordham and Monmouth. The team owns a 2-2 mark in overtime this season with three of their five MAAC games going to extra time.
Ben Fourrier leads the team in scoring with three goals and three assists for nine points, substantially higher than the next teammate. Moritz Riegel places second with five points, registering two goals and one assist in his nine appearances.
The team's goalkeeper duties have been shared this season with Marcellin Gohier gaining most of the time. He has played in nine games this season for a total of 840 minutes, leading to his 1.82 goals against average and .679 save percentage (36 saves).
Over the last five meetings, Fairfield owns a 3-1-1 record against Manhattan, starting with 1-0 victories in each of the last two seasons. The two teams have also shown their ability to score goals with the two programs playing to a 3-3 draw in 2016 and the Stags outscoring the Jaspers 3-2 in 2014. Manhattan's lone win in this five-game stretch occurred during the 2015 campaign when it posted a 1-0 decision in New York.
Later in the week, Fairfield will host Siena College on Saturday night at Lessing Field. Prior to the game, the soccer program will host Senior Night during which it will honor the team's seven seniors.
