Biography

2019: Fernando  Rebayo had a hand in the Stags’ offensive success in 2019, scoring five points off two goals and an assist. He found his way into 12 matches, earning a start against Rhode Island, Saint Joseph’s, New Hampshire and Hartford. He tallied the team’s only goal of the game in a draw with Rhode Island to open the season. Rebayo tallied his next goal in the Stony Brook game which resulted in a 2-2 draw at home. His final point of the season was an assist in the team’s 4-3 setback to Saint Peter’s at home. He took nine shots during the campaign with five of those attempts being on target.

2018: Robayo became one of the team's top offensive players off the bench in 2018, serving the program as a reserve in 14 of his 15 appearances. Despite mid-game entries, the forward was still able to gain momentum up front and make a difference for the Stags. He ended the campaign with two goals and an assist for five points. He took 11 shots during the year with six being on goal and two touching the back of the net. His second goal of the season tied the game against Monmouth, a contest that Fairfield went on to win by a 2-1 count. His initial goal of the season was the Stags' second in a 3-2 setback to College of Charleston. He picked up an assist on the team's first goal of a 3-2 win against Rider while his final points 

2017: Robayo provided the coaching staff with a strong option up front, contributing as a reserve in all eight appearances. His first nod was at the University of Portland as the freshman went on to gain entry in two non-conference and six MAAC matches during the season. Robayo placed one of his three shots on goal in 2017, forcing a save with his first shot of the season against Siena.

Before Fairfield: Robayo joins the Fairfield University soccer team after an outstanding academic and athletic career at St. Anthony’s High School. As a forward, Robayo tallied 30 goals and 20 assists during his career, highlighted by his 18 goals and 13 assists in 17 games as a senior. He is ranked among the school’s single-season scoring lists for goals in a season (third) and assists in a season (second). He earned All-League honors in 2015 and 2016 was an All-State in 2016. He also secured honors with the News 12 All Long Island First Team. He was named the St. Anthony’s High School Most Valuable Player and earned the team’s Offensive Player of the Year.
