FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse continues its four-game road trip this Saturday, March 3 at New Hampshire. The Stags and Wildcats are set for a noon opening draw in Durham, N.H.

Fairfield enters the game at 3-2 overall and 2-0 at the midway point of its current road swing. The Stags most recently dispatched Sacred Heart, 18-7, behind points from 12 different players.
Kathleen Hulseman totaled five points (2g, 3a) and
Brooke Gallagher racked up four goals to lead the attack against the Pioneers.

In the midfield, Fairfield held a 14-12 lead in draw controls fueled by nine from
Erin Mammele.
Paulina DiFatta helmed the cage for the first 57:40 of the contest and made nine saves.
Emily Polsinello made her collegiate debut over the final 2:50 of action and turned away one shot.

For the season, Mammele ranks second in the MAAC and seventh in the nation on the draw with 8.20 per game. DiFatta currently shares the national lead with 60 total saves, ranking seventh in save percentage with a MAAC-leading .550 mark in the cage.

The Fairfield offense has been led by 17 points (8g, 9a) from
Brenna Connolly.
Taylor Mitchell is the Stags' top goal scorer with 11 markers to date.

The University of New Hampshire is 2-3 on the season and 2-1 on its home field after a 16-8 loss to UConn on Wednesday afternoon. The Huskies are one of two common opponents between the Stags and Wildcats this spring – UNH claimed a 14-2 victory over Sacred Heart in its season opener on Feb. 10.

Krissy Schafer paces the New Hampshire attack with 14 goals, while Carly Wooters has racked up 10 points (8g, 2a). Kate Clancy has started all five games in the Wildcats' cage, posting a 10.86 goals-against average and .406 save percentage. Amanda Gottlieb adds a .467 save percentage in her 73 minutes over three relief appearances.

The Stags have won four of the last five meetings with New Hampshire to even the all-time series at 5-5. The clubs have met in each of the last eight campaigns with Fairfield owning a 5-3 advantage over that span. Last spring, the Stags doubled-up the Wildcats in a 10-5 win on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.

After Saturday's game, the Stags head to Lehigh on Sunday, March 11 for a noon draw with the Mountain Hawks. Action returns to Rafferty Stadium the following Wednesday, March 14 as Fairfield hosts Boston University in their non-conference finale at 3 p.m.
