DANBURY, Conn. – Sixty Fairfield University student-athletes have been recognized for their performance in the classroom by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). A total of 38 Stags participating in fall sports (cross country, field hockey, soccer, volleyball) were tabbed for the ECAC President's Honor Roll, while 22 student-athletes were named to the ECAC Academic Honor Roll.

With 60 honorees on the docket, 75 percent of the eligible Fairfield student-athletes from fall sports earned ECAC academic laurels this past semester.

Paul Schlickmann. "These awards are another example of the dedication to academic success that has become synonymous with Fairfield University student-athletes."
The ECAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieved a 3.2-3.59 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and have completed one full academic year at their current institution. The ECAC President's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have a GPA of 3.6 or better and have completed a full academic year at their institution.
