FAIRFIELD, Conn. –With all the festivities on the Fairfield campus during Alumni and Family weekend, the Fairfield University women's basketball team will be hosting their own events. The program will welcome back alumni and fans to the Walsh Athletic Center on October 22, for an open practice starting at 10am. This will be the first chance for the public to see the 2016-17 squad as a whole, after nearly two weeks of official practices.

After the practice, the Friends of Women's Basketball program will be hosting a reception at 1pm at the Alumni House on campus. The reception will also serve as a chance for others to mingle and get to know the student-athletes off the court, as well as reconnect with several alumni who will be attending.
