The Fairfield University men's and women's swimming & diving teams will resume dual meet action on Saturday, January 26 when they travel to Iona College.The diving events begin at 10am while swimming starts at 1pm.
Last Time Out: The Stags, who just returned from their winter training trip in Hawaii, last competed in early December at the ECAC Warm-Up Championship. The men's team (2-3) placed fourth overall while the women's team (2-3) finished fifth.
Fairfield vs. Iona: Last season against Iona at the RecPlex, the Stags set five program records as they swept the Gaels. The men's team notched a 143-98 decision, which snapped a two-meet skid against Iona. The women defeated Iona for the first time in five seasons by edging the Gaels, 127-116.
Looking Ahead: Fairfield closes out the dual meet portion of its schedule next weekend when it hosts NJIT on February 2 at 1pm in the RecPlex. Prior to the meet, the Stags will honor their Senior Class of:
