Fairfield opens the 2012-13 campaign on Saturday, October 6 against Boston College at the RecPlex. The diving events are set to begin at 5pm while swimming begins at approximately 6pm.
Fairfield welcomes back 13 ECAC qualifiers from one year ago. The women's team returns 14 Stags from last season, including senior captain

The men's team returns 14 Stags this season, including seniors
Paul Bimmler and Ryan Krebs. Fairfield also has five juniors, seven sophomores, and five newcomers in sophomore Jay Cook and freshmen Nick Cannone, Connor Daly, Andrew Robinson, and Shane Sullivan.
Both the men's and the women's teams placed sixth at the 2012 MAAC Championships. Diver
Ashlee Steinberger was crowned the MAAC Champion on the 3-meter board and was named the MAAC Championship Most Outstanding Diver to cap off her freshman campaign. It was the first time since 1993 in which a Stag won the women's 3-meter.
Throughout last season, 11 individual records and six relay records were set by the men while the women's team set new standards in nine individual events and one relay. In dual meets, the men's team went 5-4 while the women's team was 5-5.
Fairfield travels to Holy Cross on October 13 and then returns home on October 20 to host MAAC foe Manhattan College on October 20 at 12pm. The Stags host Fordham University on October 26 at 5pm before traveling to Marist College on November 10.
