FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- For the first time in October, the Fairfield University men's soccer team will play a home game, and the two games could not be more important to the Stags. The Broncs come into Friday's game with a 3-9-1 overall record with two of those victories coming against MAAC opponents. Rider's other MAAC win was a double-overtime decision over Canisius on the road. Dave Benavidez is the team's top scorer with eight points, registering three goals and two assists in 10 games. Matt Perrella and Jason Giordano split the goalkeeper duties with Perrella owning a 1.02 goals against average in 617 minutes while Giordano has a 2.88 average in 593 minutes.
