Gameday Policies
Media Attendance
- Members of the media are not permitted to attend Fairfield Athletics events until further notice.
- Media members in need of photos, audio, and/or video can request them prior to gameday – with a minimum of one business day (Monday-Friday) of notice – to be provided by Fairfield Athletics in a timely manner after the game.
Postgame Interviews
- A Zoom press conference will be held following each game. A link will be provided via e-mail to all media members who request it.
- One-on-one postgame interviews will also be held via Zoom as requested. No media members will be permitted to conduct in-person interviews.
- Home and Visitor press conferences and interviews will be held separately. Fairfield Athletic Communications will manage interviews with assistance from visiting SID, if he/she is in attendance.
Fairfield Road Media Policy
- In addition to adherence with all home team media policies, all interviews with Fairfield Athletics personnel must be conducted remotely (Zoom, phone, e-mail) or with proper social distancing as arranged by the host institution.
Other Media Policies
Non-Gameday Interviews
- All student-athlete interviews must be remote (Zoom, phone, e-mail) until further notice.
- Any coach/administrator interview that can be done remotely, must be done remotely.
- Any coach/administrator interview that requires in-person filming must be held outdoors and with proper social distancing.
- A minimum of one business day (Monday-Friday) of notice is required for all interviews that necessitate any visitor entering campus. All entrants to campus must comply with all Covid-19 visitor protocols.
- Student-athletes and coaches may not travel to an off-campus location (i.e. a TV studio) for an interview.
- Pregame interviews will not be granted on gameday without prior arrangement.
